Previously owning a Motorola PEBL U6, I bought a Motorola A1200 after a long debate between the music-oriented Motorola E2 and the smart phone. The A1200 is just UN-BE-LIE-VA-BLE! It has surpassed all my expectations. From excellent call quality (eve (Read full review at CNET)

As with any of these all-in-one phones, the features cannot compare to a separa camera and mp3 player. That being said it is still the best phone I've ever had. I received this as a gift one-year ago and I still do not tire of it. A forum of users on (Read full review at CNET)

| Motorola’s A1200 MotoMing is the successor to the A1000 and like i-mate’s Smartflip, is designed for fashionista users in need of a smartphone. With regards its design and look, the Motorola is unmatched here. Its clamshell design and see-through cover make it an instant attention getter and that’s before you get to its brilliant 2.4” LCD screen. This display produces sharp text, whilst its colours are bright and well contrasted. Thanks to this last factor, using the A1200 in even very bright environments is no trouble. The Ming also differs from its competitors by being the only smartphone here to be based on a Linux platform OS (rather than Windows or Symbian). Motorola has adapted it well as the OS is very easy to use. Besides offering all the standard bells and whistles such as a scheduler, e-mail client and more, the A1200 also includes a business card reader. You simply switch the camera into macro mode and take a photo of a business card, after which the software will OCR the text and then let you add this data to your existing list of contacts; very clever. Our only real niggle with the Ming is its rather basic 8Mbytes of on-board memory. This can be filled quite quickly with just a few photos and files and though this can be expanded using a Micro-SD card, considering its price we expected more. ...
